DUNE (Duke University Network of Entrepreneurs) is a student-driven hub for networking, communication, resource sharing and entrepreneurial collaboration among all Duke students and faculty interested in entrepreneurship or intrapreneurship.

Join us and become part of the wider Duke University community of entrepreneurs!

DUNE engages in the following activities to achieve its mission:

  • Quarterly meetings amongst all members and groups in which individual members and student group representatives can meet, report on new initiatives, find collaborators, get assistance or find sources for further referrals or information.
  • A website to collect member information for a Duke-wide database of interested students with expertise in different areas. Members access only.
  • Email updates by members about entrepreneurship-related events around campus.
  • A more formal network of DUNE representatives at each school or department in Duke University to promote DUNE membership and its mission.

We are formally under the Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Club (EVCC) at the Fuqua School of Business where one of the original co-founders of DUNE was a student. We are also formal partners with the Pratt School of Engineering's CIERD ( Center for Integrated Education, Research and Development ), a similar student-run organization whose objective is to promote interdisciplinary thinking, develop teamwork and support cross-program research.

DUNE serves the entire Duke community, including students, faculty, staff and alumni. We aim to complement the EVCC's linkages between the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University and the surrounding entrepreneurial community in the Research Triangle Park (RTP) area.
